During Crises
In the event of a major crisis, government community agencies and volunteer associations can be found at the centre of the recovery process, providing disaster relief to tens of thousands of displaced persons and aid or emergency workers through the provision of food services, blood supplies, shelter, clothing, financial support and other donated goods. With limited resources, they manage significant networks of volunteers, maintain information flows with a number of emergency related partners and services, and manage the logistics of recovery centres and relocation efforts.
What is OCA?
OCA Incident Manager is an information management and crisis communication technology that helps government community and volunteer associations during such crises by addressing two central issues: the rapid sharing and dissemination of accurate information and the fast and economic mobilisation of resources.
